About the instructors

1. Bill Burnett

 The Stanford Design Program’s Executive Director is Bill Burnett. He has also won design prizes for a range of items. This further includes the first “slate” computer, and he is the owner of many mechanical and design patents. In addition to his responsibilities at Stanford, he serves on the board of VOZ, a socially conscious high fashion venture, and provides advice to a number of Internet start-up businesses.

2. John 

John lectures Designing Your Life, and Creating the Professional at Stanford’s Life Design Lab. In addition to consulting with businesses as a Design Coach for Diversity and Inclusion projects, John has taught courses and workshops. This is for teachers and students at institutions in the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia. He has also overseen the creation of online material for the d.life Lab.
